French manicures are great if they don't come with an expensive tag.
Besides, who wants to spend money on buying those stickers and prepack french manicures. Simply too expensive for student like me who don't earn an income.
Furthermore, I have imperfect nails and I can't pain straight lines, so don't bother telling me to look at youtube videos because I tried and I wasted a lot of nail polish remover.
So, how?
I've discover the cheapest method, could be free if you have more than one nail polish colour at home.
What you need.
1. Nail polish *2 or more*. Top coat and base coat *up to preferences or availability*.
2. And reinforcement ring stickers *yes, those you purchase for file keeping use =)*
3. Here, I did my nail twice, I suppose that my pink just discoloured the white I painted on. Note that if your pink colour or beige is not transparent enough to reveal the white, I suggest you paint the pink before the white. In my case, I painted my nails 3 times due to accidents and ugly painting. *yes, I am fussy and I simply don't have skills on this manicure thing*
4. Make sure that your base colour is completely dry. Repeat! Completely dry!!! Stick the rings on your clothes first to loosen up the glue from being too sticky that may ruin your base coat. You can then place the rings on your nails according to your preference.
5.Paint the white/other colour nail polish over it. Slowly fold the ring opposite from the ends to avoid smudges.
6. Tadaa!! Perfectly lined. *not really la but better than trying to apply bare hand*
7. When is done, it looks like that..
8. Lastly, coat it with a top coat. I used Elianto's glittery top coat because glitter nail polish can hide my flawed paint job.
*I know is a messy job... I don't have perfect nails.*
PS: I found it extremely helpful to me because I have shaky hands too.. =____=|||
PSS: You can use cellophane tape if you like, but the line would be super straight.
